Our "Smiley Bars" are affectionately named after one of our customers - Mr. Smiley. Mr. Smiley, a teacher from Capitol View Elementary School, is a regular at Buttersweet. He visits us almost daily and graces us with a smile that lights up the entire bakery. Mr. Smiley fell in love with the Toffee Bars and orders them each time he visits the bakery. Because of his love affair with the Toffee Bars, we changed the name to Smiley Bars. Next time you bite into a Smiley Bar, you just might feel the love!

In case you were not aware, Emma is my daughter, and our coconut bar with white chocolate, dark chocolate, butterscotch chips all covered with cream and topped with shredded toasted coconut, is affectionately named after my Em!

Buttersweet Bakery supports the Arts by featuring local artists in its Gallery. If you are a budding artist, student or just plain creative and have art you wish to display, bring it to Buttersweet. Currently showing are the "Road to Intimacy" series by writer Ron Mosley, The "Lightworker - Inspiring the World" series by artist of light Bill Whitlock, and a Collage of Paintings by students from Capitol View Elementary School!
